Elijah’s expected coming to ‘restore all things’ (apokatastisi) is fulfilled in John the Baptist, who came ‘in the spirit and power of Elijah’

Matthew 10:6 — *Go instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. *
Matthew 10:10 — *no bag for the journey; or an extra tunic or sandals or staff; for the worker deserves his provisions. *
