Definition
The Mongols, though pagans worshipping sun, moon, water, shadows of dead khans and fire, practised a ‘religious indifference’ commanded by Genghis Khan’s Yasa to respect and fear all gods; the khans took part in Christian, Islamic and Buddhist rites.
