Rom 1116

Definition

A sharing in God’s holiness, derived from the Holy Head, Christ (Rom. 11:16), and from the Spirit who pours out sanctification through Word, sacraments and self-sacrifice; the Church is not a sanctuary of the perfect but contains both the righteous and those being sanctified.
