Judaizing Tendencies
Definition
The early-church teaching that there will be two separated resurrections: first of the righteous, who reign with Christ for a thousand years enjoying spiritual and sensual goods (Judaizing chiliasts also expecting the restored Jerusalem temple and Old Testament sacrifices), and only afterwards the resurrection of sinners for judgment. Derives from χίλιοι, ‘a thousand’.
