Immutability

Definition

God’s nature admits no continuous change (change being a sign of relative imperfection). God loses nothing of what He has and acquires nothing He has not, neither diminishes nor increases. It is a consequence of God’s self-sufficiency; yet it is not a static, frozen absolute, since the Triune life is an eternal movement of love.
