Geographical Orientation

Definition

The world is perceived as dual: upper/lower, masculine/feminine, dark/light, left/right, north/south. Crucially, this opposition has no ethical specificity — good spirits may dwell in the subterranean world, and the heavens contain the supreme evil spirit (the highest heaven excepted).
