Genesiskinesisstasis
Definition
Maximus’ reversal of Origen’s triad: God created the world by His divine will (genesis); this action is expressed in movement (kinesis); movement seeks its completion in stability in God (stasis), which is the goal of creation. Movement, evil for Origenism, is good because it is rooted in God’s plan.
